Comfort, Air Quality, or Energy Problems That Never Fully Go Away?
Most home performance problems overlap, and guessing rarely leads to lasting results. Whole-home testing helps identify how your home is actually performing so improvements can be targeted, prioritized, and effective.
If previous fixes haven’t fully solved the problem, testing usually reveals what's really going on.
Why Testing Comes First
Many comfort and efficiency upgrades are installed without fully understanding how the home is performing. Testing removes the guesswork. By measuring air movement, duct leakage, and system behavior, we can identify the root causes behind uneven temperatures, high utility bills, dust concerns, and comfort complaints.
After thousands of energy audits and more than 15 years working as a BPI-certified Building Analyst under the DOE’s Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® program, we’ve seen the patterns that separate temporary fixes from lasting results.
What Whole-Home Testing Often Reveals
- Duct leakage sending conditioned air into the attic
- Airflow imbalances between rooms
- Hidden air leakage pathways in the attic or walls
- Insulation performance gaps or misalignment
- Return air restrictions affecting system operation
- Dust and other infiltration points
Who Benefits Most From Testing
Whole-home testing is especially valuable for homeowners dealing with uneven temperatures, persistent dust, high utility bills, or rooms that never seem to stay comfortable. If previous repairs haven’t fully solved the problem, diagnostic testing often reveals what’s being missed.
We Use Professional Diagnostic Tools
Accurate results require more than visual inspection. We use professional diagnostic equipment to measure how your home is actually performing. These measurements remove guesswork and allow improvements to be prioritized based on actual performance data.
Blower Door Testing
Measures how much air is leaking through the home’s envelope and helps locate hidden air leakage pathways affecting comfort and efficiency.

Duct Leakage Testing
Identifies how much conditioned air is escaping from the duct system and where losses are occurring.

Airflow & Pressure Diagnostics
Evaluates room airflow, return performance, and system pressures to uncover comfort and performance imbalances.
What’s Included in Your Evaluation
Professional whole-home performance testing starts at $99 for most single-system homes.
• Blower door testing
• Duct leakage testing
• Airflow and static pressure evaluation
• Attic insulation inspection
• Visual duct system inspection
Do You Know What Your Home Actually Needs?
If you're dealing with ongoing comfort issues, dust concerns, or rising energy bills, comprehensive testing is the first step toward lasting improvement.
What to Expect During Your Evaluation
- We discuss your concerns and comfort priorities
- Diagnostic testing is performed throughout the home
- Results are reviewed and explained clearly
- Optional detailed findings and energy savings reports available when deeper analysis is needed
- Next-step options are discussed only if needed
Sharp Home Solutions provides Whole Home Testing throughout the Phoenix Metro and West Valley, including Peoria, Sun City, Sun City West, Surprise, and Buckeye.
Whole-Home Testing & Evaluation
Find out whether duct leakage, airflow design, air leakage, insulation performance, or overall system behavior is contributing to your comfort, air quality, or energy concerns — and which improvements are most likely to make a meaningful difference. This allows you to make informed decisions before investing in upgrades.
The goal is improved comfort, healthier living conditions, and better efficiency. In some situations, utility rebates may also be available and will be reviewed as part of your home evaluation.

No high-pressure sales — just clear answers about how your home is performing.
Professional whole-home leakage testing starts at $99
for most single-system homes. Most evaluations take 60–90 minutes. You’ll receive clear findings and next-step recommendations — never pressure.
This includes blower door testing, duct leakage testing, airflow/static pressure evaluation, attic insulation inspection, visual duct inspection, exterior inspection, evaluation of appliances, mechanicals and more.
Testing helps identify whether one or multiple offenders are contributing to your homes comfort, air quality or efficiency.
Homes with multiple HVAC systems may require additional testing. All findings and recommendations are reviewed before any repair work is discussed
